Intagrated NCC

LLC "EKNIS" carries out a full range of works on the development and implementation of network control center systems (NCC) of power transmission and distribution enterprises.

The creation of SCADA has the following goals:

• • clear visualization and control of the parameters of the electrical network state in normal and emergency modes;
• • increasing the efficiency of operational dispatch management;
• • improving the reliability of the main and auxiliary equipment of substations and electrical networks;
• • ensuring the required quality indicators of electricity and the level of service for market participants;
• • reducing the level of losses and increasing reliability in solving the problems of generation, transmission, transformation and distribution of electricity;
• • increasing the level of information and general security of the technological complex.

Realizing the modern need of the Ukrainian electric power market participants in automation, optimization, improvement of reliability indicators and minimization of losses in power grids, today EKNIS recommends its clients to implement SCADA / DMS class systems.

SCADA subsystem

1. 1. Control, collection, processing, display and storage of telemechanics systems data. In addition, a survey is carried out for substation relay protection terminals of foreign and domestic production, devices for registering emergency events, metering and measuring devices for electrical parameters, auxiliary controllers and other engineering systems of substations.
2. 2. Telecontrol of circuit breakers and other switching devices with verification of user rights, taking into account interlocks and control of implementation. It is carried out both by direct action on the drive and through the relay protection and automation terminals.
3. 3. Control of protection operation, remote acknowledgment of protection operation signals directly in the terminal.
4. 4. Dynamic coloring of sections of networks and substations on mnemonic diagrams, depending on whether the section is grounded, de-energized or voltage-carrying.
5. 5. Control of the position of the substation control keys "remote / local" when performing telecontrol.
6. 6. Display and maintenance of a distribution network diagram with detailing to TP. Illumination of powered, disconnected and grounded areas. Possibility of installing posters, portable grounding on the video frame. Illumination of switching devices, the position of which does not correspond to the normal mode diagram. Keeping an appropriate register.
7. 7. Control and data collection from old telemechanics systems - Granite, TM800 and others. Ability to work via redundant communication channels, automatic switching to a backup channel in case of loss of the main one. Communication with adjacent systems via OPC and SQL.

HISTORIAN subsystem

1. 1. Maintaining long-term archives of technological values, displaying them on mnemonic diagrams, in the form of graphs and tables. Keeping an archive log of events, a log of current abnormal occurrence.
2. 2. Formation of any custom reports based on data from historical databases. The ability to customize forms for the enterprise requirements.
3. 3. Secure access to archived telemechanics data from remote workstations connected to the corporate network. Access from other corporate information systems.

DMS subsystem

1. 1. Creation, management and editing of the topological model of the enterprise power grid. Also integration with SCADA in terms of telemechanics and telecontrol data. Networks of all voltage classes, including 0.4 kV.
2. 2. Dynamic coloring of sections of networks and substations on mnemonic diagrams, depending on whether the section is grounded, de-energized or voltage-carrying. Displaying the network diagram on a GIS sub-base with the ability to scale and switch maps.
3. 3. Determination of the fault location according to calculations in the topological model, according to signaling and telemechanics measurements from the SCADA subsystem, according to data from relay protection and automation terminals and other equipment. Automated / manual isolation of the damaged section of the power grid with subsequent recommendations / options for eliminating the accident.
4. 4. Management of emergency crew. Assignments of the task. Displaying the position of the crew on the GIS subbase.
5. 5. Mode of simulation of the topological model of the enterprise network to simulate the operation of the network according to various criteria. Definition of "narrow sections". Reconstruction planning based on modeling results.
6. 6. Integration with other enterprise information systems (ERP, AMR, CRM, GIS, billing, etc.). Support for CIM models has been implemented.
7. 7. Formation of arbitrary reports on historical data. The ability to generate reports according to the NERC form on the reliability indicators SAIDI, SAIFI, MAIFI, ENS.
8. 8. Using the simulation mode as a trainer for dispatchers. Using the topological network of the enterprise and its actual past abnormal modes for training.
