For effective management of any process it is important to measure, actuate, record and monitor. ABB offers a full line of field instruments and devices that can provide the necessary control and return investment.
KM26 Magnetic level gauge
Today, hundreds of thousands of KM26 magnetic level gauges are already in operation. The ABB K-TEK has gained such great popularity due to its well thought-out design with a unique float for the level gauge. The K-TEK engineering solution provides high accuracy level measurement of liquid media, including boiling products with varying density. Floats are designed specifically for specific applications, and have the following features:
The KM26 has established itself as a safe, reliable, maintenance-free instrument for determining the overall level and / or interface in toxic, aggressive, high-pressure and high-temperature processes.
KM26 can be equipped with level switches. Signaling devices for KM26 are placed outside the remote chamber and are triggered by the magnetic field of the float (when it approaches).

Magnetostrictive level transmitters
Level gauges of the LMT series are modular field microprocessor devices that use various technologies. These instruments provide accurate and reliable liquid level measurement even in the most complex and hazardous industrial media. The LMT Series instruments work with standard 4–20 mA output signals and support the HART digital communication protocol, as well as FOUNDATION Fieldbus and Profibus communication systems. The LMT series includes three models: LMT100 (immersion type), LMT200 (mounting on a measuring instrument (KM26) and LMT300 (immersion, sanitary and hygienic design).
Magnetostrictive level transmitters provide continuous level indication and transmission of an analog and / or digital signal for monitoring or control. The principle of operation of these converters is based on the magnetostrictive effect. The unique magnetostrictive design allows you to increase the measurement sensitivity, which is more than 100 times higher than conventional non-contact transducers.
Guided wave radar transmitters MT5000
Guided wave radar transmitters МТ modification designed to measure the level of liquids and / or the interface between liquid media in tanks, measure the level of small granular solids. The principle of operation of the level gauges is based on measuring the time interval between the emission of the pulse and obtaining an echo signal reflected from the surface of the liquid or small granular solids.

Ultrasonic level transmitter LST
It is a high-performance ultrasonic level transmitter that accurately measures level, distance and flow in an open channel in the range of up to 10 m (LST300) / 15 meters (LST400). It is a non-contact liquid level meter designed for use at the liquid level in a wide range of applications and industries.
The emitter microprocessor simultaneously delivers an electronic pulse to the emitter and starts the timer. A transducer converts this electronic pulse into an acoustic pulse directed to the surface of the measured material. When an acoustic impulse is in contact with the surface of the material, energy is reflected back into the transducer, which converts the reflected energy back into an electronic pulse. This pulse is sent back to the microprocessor, which stops the timer and determines the "flight time" of the signal. By combining the speed of sound through air and the "flight time" of the pulse, the microprocessor accurately determines the level of the product. Powerful software removes false echoes from the signal, and electronic filters eliminate ambient noise.

Vibrating fork level switch RS85
The RS85 vibrating level switch uses a vibrating fork driven by a piezoelectric element.
The resonant frequency of the vibrating fork changes significantly when the fork immersed in any liquid medium. A "smart" microprocessor-based electronic unit keeps the sensor in a resonant state as it changes from dry to wet or wet to dry. The resonator utilizes constantly monitored for changes. The signal is fed through a relay.
